Another Brick is a Java application that requires about 117 KB of memory. and is provided by Microforum as a file on a CD Card. or via e-mail. In the first case. the mobile phone's ability to connect to a PC is used; in the second instance. Microforum sends an email to the user. In both cases. the mobile recognises that it's an application. and asks the user if he/she wants to proceed with the installation. The activation procedure requires the user to send a SMS (or any other electronic message) with the code. as shown by the application. in order to receive a SMS with the activation key. The activation key is then entered when the application requests it. Once the procedure is completed. Another Brick is ready to be used with no limitations.
